I wouldn't use these for travel--a bit too clunky to pack, and not sure how they'd do for a full day of hiking--also hard to go uphill or down with the rocking sole.

I usually tend to walk with my toes pointing more or less to the side. Because of the different, and better, alignment I initially experienced some discomfort.
